Divine Truth: Premortal Life

We lived with God before we came to this Earth. This is when God gave the Plan of Salvation and we decided to come to Earth to receive a body. We chose to be here so that we can grow and change and come closer to our Heavenly Father. Our heavenly Father wants us to be in his arms again. He wants us to come back to him. In premortal life we were with our Heavenly Father and now we are working towards being with him again. On LDS. org it says that "before we were born, we lived with God in heaven as spirits. All of our spirit brothers and sisters were there, too—everyone who has lived or will live on earth including Jesus Christ. In this “pre-earth life,” each of us was an individual with a divine nature and destiny. God gave all of us the gift of agency, or the right to choose for ourselves. Because He is the Father of our spirits, we call Him our Heavenly Father."We should rejoice because we all chose to be on our Father and Saviors side and come down to Earth. Next time I will be talking about the next step of the plan of salvation which is living on Earth.
